Nursing Services

Appointments with the nursing team are available for a wide variety of consultations including management of diabetes, asthma and other respiratory conditions, coronary health reviews, hypertension, contraception and family planning (including emergency family planning) and travel health.

Services such as dressings, ear care and baby immunisations are also available alongside health promotion and education such as smoking cessation counselling, weight loss, preconceptional counselling and health screening.

Held every MONDAY 8am - 12md 1pm-4pm - this is a walk-in service

Tuesdays 8.30am - 10.30am

Flu/Pneumonia Vaccination

A flu vaccination is recommended for the following patients:-

  • diabetics
  • those who have suffered a stroke
  • patients with heart, lung liver or kidney diseases
  • immunosuppressed individuals
  • anyone aged over 65
  • all residents of nursing and rest homes
  • carers

Please contact the surgery in September for details of flu clinic dates. Pneumonia vaccines are available all year round.

Insurance/Vehicle Licence Medical Examinations

These are carried out by special appointment with your doctor for which a separate fee is payable.

Wart And Verruca Clinics

These are available every month by appointment.
