Repeat Prescriptions

greenpillsTelephone requests for repeat prescriptions are not routinely accepted although exceptions are made for housebound and/or elderly patients and some carers.

Please make your prescription request in writing by use of the computerised form where possible. If you would like the prescription posted back to you, enclose a stamped addressed envelope.

Alternatively you may order your repeat medication online by following the link on this page to the secure form. You will need to carry out the straighforward, one-off registration.

Please allow 48 hours before collecting your prescription.

Local chemists can deliver medication to you at home, but this service is restricted to only the very ill or housebound. A repeat dispensing service is available for some medications. It may also be possible for your prescription to be sent directly to the chemist to save you visiting the surgery. However, we will need to see patients on a regular basis for repeat prescription reviews.
