Booking Appointments Guidance

As a practice we offer pre-booked appointments with our GP’s and Advance Nurse Practitioners up to two weeks in advance. These can be booked in person, by telephone, via Patient online Access or the myGP APP.

On the day appointments are released at 7:30am on the myGp App and on Patient Access. The telephone lines open at 8am to call for an appointment.

When all available appointment are booked, one of our Advanced Nurse Practitioners provides telephone triage service, where they will call patients to undertake a structured clinical assessment in order to evaluate the presenting problem. Appointments are then offered dependent upon clinical necessity with the appropriate clinician.

Any requests for urgent appointments during the day will be required to provide a brief description of the problem and will be directed to the duty doctor.

Administrative matter and repeat medication will not be dealt with during an urgent duty doctor appointment.

The GP’s also offer telephone consultation appointments but these are not for medication requests.

Nurse appointments can only be booked via reception due to the specialism of each practitioner.

If you require any further information or have questions relating to our services please contact Reception directly who will be pleased to assist you.

Yours Sincerely,

The Old Court House Surgery
